- The three branches are the Executive Branch, Legislative Branch, and the Judicial Branch.The executive branch includes the Monarch, the Prime Minister, and the cabinet, which is made up of people the Prime Minister chooses. This branch is responsible for running the country and making sure laws are carried out.
- So what are the responsibilities of the legislative branch?
- The legislative branch makes the laws, decides on taxes, and approves how the government spends money. It includes the Monarch, the Senate, and the House of Commons.
- The judicial branch makes sure laws are followed and that justice is spread fairly. It includes the Supreme Court, Federal Courts, Military Courts, and Provincial Courts.
