  • The Monster visits the first time.
  • Conor had woken up unable to sleep. While lying there the monster came and explained that he would return. Conor's mum is ill.

  • Conor was being beaten up at school by Harry and his bullies. His friend Lily tried helping him, but when Miss Kwan caught her she got into trouble and Conor didn't help her.

  • Conor's Grandma comes to stay
  • Conor's grandma comes to live with Conor and his mum so that she can help. Conor doesn't want her to stay.
  • Poor Conor. I'll look after him while his mum is ill.

  • The Monster visits Conor and tells him a story
  • The prince kills his lover and says the Queen did it. The villagers want to kill the Queen, but the monster stops them.

  • The Monster tells another story
  • Can I cut down your yew tree to make my medicines?

  • Conor destroys his Grandma's room
  • I HATE IT HERE!

  • Conor and his Dad go for a walk.
  • I went to see Mum in hospital and she said th doctors were trying a new cancer drug made from Yew tree bark.
  • Your Mum and I haven't been truthful with you. I don't think the new treatmen will work.

  • Harry wants to upset Conor.
  • He made me SO angry I punched him really hard. He had to go to hospital. The strange thing is, I didn't get into trouble.
  • I hate you SO much that from now on, I'm going to pretend you're not there-that will REALLY upset you.

  • Nobody notices me. It's like I'm invisible.

  • Conor, it's you i need to heal, not your mum. You have to let er go.
  • Why didn't you heal my mum?

  • Conor visits his mum for the last time
  • Mum, I don't want you to go, but I know you need to and I know I'll be ok.
