- Summer of 2017, when I was 8 I went on a road trip with my mom and dad from the city to Chicago. It started off great, with lots of laughs

- We arrived at the Airbnb and my mom has been acting weird to my dad
- This Airbnb is quiet small, nothing like the photos
- Lets go to bed then we are on the road again

- My mom snapped on my dad in the morning, they started arguing the entire way to the next stop.
- Well, maybe if you navigated better, we wouldn't be lost
- Okay then do you wanna drive cause I know you wouldn't wanna since you just wanna sit there and be angry all trip.

- Things got even worse when my dad found out my mom had cheated on him
- How could you do this to us? Especially when we have a family.
- Sorry, I never meant to do that I swear please please, forgive me

- By the end of the trip, their relationship had fallen apart, and they decided to get divorced, Now that I'm 15 I see the difference in what one day can do for the rest of your life
