- 15th January 1946 Dear Mr Adams, I no longer live in Oakley Street, but I'm so glad that your letter found me and that my book found you. It was..... if you have time to correspond with me, could you several questions? Three, in fact...
- Adams get a letter from Juliet. Juliet ask him with three questions. One of the question is about the name of society, what is a potato peel pie and why is it include in their society? Adams replied the letter and tell the true story.
- A few days later, Juliet tell to Adams that she want write a story about their society. She get a letter from Amelia Maugery (a members in the society) who allowed Juliet to write. They discuss and Juliet curious about a Elizabeth Mckenna.
- Elizabeth was fall in love with German souldier, Christian Hellman and she becomes pregnant with his child. Hellman was a kind person. Before the birth of his child, Christian is re-stationed. His boat back to Europe is bombed and he is killed.
