- Ma'at's Feather of Truth was used in the Weighing of the Heart ceremony after death. If one's heart was heavier than the feather, they were eaten by Ammut and their souls never found peace or rest. If their hearts were lighter than the feather, their souls would be escorted on their heavenly ascent to Aaru.
