- Narrator: The king arrested Pythias to his prison and he will be killing him later.

- Narrator:Damon begged the king for freedom for few days for Pythias and king decided to let him free for two weeks and Damon said he will die in his place if Pythias don’t come back.
- I’ll go to the king and beg him to give you your freedom for a few days. You’ll give your word to return at the end of that time. Everyone in Sicily knows you for a man who has never broken his word.
- Do you believe for one moment that the king would let me leave this prison, no matter how good my word may have been all my life?

- Pythias was arrived on time, and he saved Damon. The king didn’t killed neither of them because he have never seen a friend relationships between two men.
