- How do you feel about youth crime in UK?
- Personally I feel worried and frightened every time I walk alone on the streets knowing something could happen to me. I also think it should be stopped straight away.
- What are your views on what politicians should do to stop youth crime?
- I think that politicians should put more laws that stop youth crime and should do workshops in schools to make them aware of this problem.
- If you were an MP what would you do about youth crime?
- I would create a law about not carrying knifes and also increase the amount of police officers to do stop and search.
- Are you happy with the current actions of what the government are doing?
- I am happy to a certain extent because the government has put in laws the undermine the power of gangsters and knife crime. The reason why I am unhappy is because there is not enough laws that fully restrict youth crime.
- What do you think influences young crime and what could people do to prevent it?
- I think that young crime is caused by older people influencing them or revenge makes them do crime as well. To prevent it we could raise awareness about this issue.
- Has your school done anything to help prevent and educate you about youth crime?
- As of now, we have gotten a visit from our community police on how to handle youth crime such as knife crime.
