- Kotler was assigned to capture and kill Rohem, other SS leaders and political rivals that angered Hitler. kotler captured them and place them in prison where they were killed. with plenty of experience with these things, Kotler felt nothing for them.
- 1936- preparing for war
- kotler was informed that Hitler became a fuher upon the president's passing and that the German army needed to swear a personal oath of allegiance to Hitler.
- 1938-the night of the broken glass
- kotler when to an unguarded jew shop and saw his childhood bestfriend with a jewish woman. there was a new law that germans can't be with a jew. for a moment he didn't know what to do. in the end he decided it was right to take her to one of the concentration camps.
- 1939
- Hitler worked towards rearmament and the remilitarization of Rhineland. Kotler was there during the conscription
- Kotler a long with his officers arrested twenty thousand jews and sent them to concentration camps. this was due to a jew that shot a Nazi diplomat. He killed him at the German embassy in Paris .the Nazi people then proceeded to vandalize and burn down jewish shops, houses and synagogues.
- Kotler had to stage a fake polish attack on the radio station to justify their planned attack on Poland. at that point Kotler began to have cold feet. He didn't want to lead the life of lying and killing anymore so he backed out and was executed for his betrayal.
