- I cannot play with you because you don't look like any of my other friends.
- What makes you think this way?
- All of my friends look like me. I don't hang out with anyone different.
- How do you think the other person feels?
- I wish someone would be friends with me.
- When you don't have a reason to dislike people and won't give them a chance based on their differences, you are developing a bias against them.
- All of my friends are just like me. My family is just like me too. I don't really have friends who are different.
- The person might feel upset or sad. They also might not understand why I will not spend time with them.
