The Winter at Valley Forge (1777)
The winter of 1777-1778 was for Washington's Continental Army to shape the army to determine the American's determination for independence. The people were very cold; for some they lacked things like clothes, shoes, carpet, housing, etc.

George Washington's Quarters
After George Washington's victory in Britain and Princeton, him and his army marched to Morriston New Jersey to create a place for him and his army for the winter.

Soldiers Quarters
The soldier's quarters at Vally Forge made a 4th of Washingtons Army to freeze to death. The soldiers had no food and had to eat things like their shoes and pets.

Problems Faced by the Soldiers #1
One of the problems they faced in 1777 were that they had lack of clothing, shelter, arms, food, and camp equiptment.

Another problem they had was freezing a thawing, many had died due to the low temperatures and lack of warmth.
