- When shall we three meet again? in Thunder lightning or in rain?
- There is a fierce battle between Scotland and Norway. Scotland win thanks to the leader of their army, a man named Macbeth. Three witches are plotting to meet Macbeth....
- When the hurlyburly's done, when the battles lost and won..
- Where's the place? Upon the heath. There to meet with Macbeth...
- King Duncan of Scotland, his children Malcolm & Donalbain, Macduff, loyal advisor to the king and all of Scotland praise Macbeth for his bravery in winning the battle.
- Brave Macbeth!
- All hail, Macbeth! Hail to thee, who will be King here after!
- All hail, Macbeth! Hail to thee, Thane of Glamis!
- On their way home from the battle Macbeth and his friend Banquo meet the three witches. The witches make a prediction.....
- All hail, Macbeth! Hail to thee, Thane of Cawdor!
- Thou shalt get kings, though thou be none!
- Lesser than Macbeth and Greater!
- Banquo asks the witches if they have any predictions for him and they reply...
- Not so happy yet much happier!
- The witches disappear..... Then a messenger arrives from the King and tells Macbeth that he has been made Thane of Cawdor: Macbeth and Banquo are amazed, were the witches right? Macbeth begins to wonder how he could become King...
- Macbeth sends a letter to his wife, Lady Macbeth, telling her what the witches have said. She reads it, and she is afraid that her husband is too weak to fulfil his destiny. A messenger brings the news that King Duncan is coming to stay at their castle to celebrate and honour Macbeth. She decides they must kill the king.
