- Cellular Respiration is the process of people and animals that converts food into energy.

- Oxygen is taken in from the air that we breathe through the lungs. This Oxygen powers the mitochondria, the powerhouse of the cell.

- The Glucose bonds are broken down in the mitochondria of the cell, releasing energy which charges ADP to ATP, the energy currency of cells.
