- Of the 12 000 inhabitants of French origin in Acadia, between 1755-1760, about 10 000 of them were expelled. Some of them went to the French colony of Louisiana, which is now part of the United States.

- Unfortunately, some of them died on the long sea journey and of those who returned after seven years when they allowed back, they found that their lands had been given away.
- And so was the tale of the proud Acadians. The End.
