Use a simple chart or mind map to help students sort their Florida facts into categories (nature, history, attractions, etc.). This makes it easier for students to choose which facts to illustrate and summarize on their storyboard.
Demonstrate building one storyboard cell from start to finish. Show students how to write a heading, add a summary, and select an illustration. This gives clear expectations and supports visual learners.
