För att få eleverna att tänka på konsekvenser först när de ställs inför ett beslut, måste de öva på processen att fatta beslut. Belöningssystemet utvecklas i deras hjärna, men inte konsekvensaspekten bland tonåringar. Omedelbar tillfredsställelse reglerar deras perspektiv. Låt eleverna brainstorma några av sina egna beslut som de tog nyligen eller de de kommer att möta snart. I den här aktiviteten kommer eleverna att fylla i mallen och dela upp sina egna beslut och hur de gjorde valet .

En uppföljningsaktivitet till detta kan vara att ha en "tänk-par-dela" -övning. Att låta eleverna reflektera över sina kamraters beslutsfattande hjälper till att bygga en "konsekvens först" -tänkande miljö, och de kan också kunna hämta inspiration från varandra.
