  • The battle of Gonzales was between the Texans and Mexico. They were fighting because Texans had a small cannon that Mexico wanted. The Texans refused so Mexico gathered an army as well as the Texans. The leader for Texas was John Moore and Mexico's leader was Casteneda.

  • The Texans had a flag that said "Come and Take It" with a cannon.

  • The Texans won the Battle of Gonzales. Mexico reacted with Battle of the Alamo

  • The Battle of the Alamo was between Texas and Mexico. They were fighting because General Santa Anna was furious about his troops surrendering at San Antonio.William B. Travis was the texan leader and Santa Anna was the Mexican leader.
  • The Mexicans outnumbered the Texans about 3000 to about 190 soldiers.
  • The Mexicans won with the battle lasting about 90 minutes. Mexico reacted by heading to Goliad to catch up with Fannin and his men. Eventually killing all them.
