Storyboard Text

  • I beat your father-in-law to become the U.S. Senate.
  • I feel it is a religous duty to oppose his career.
  • I am running for the vice presidency
  • You Sir are unfit to hold office therefore I'm must ask you to step down.
  • Sir I challenge you to a duel on July 11, 1804 battling grounds near Weehawken, New Jersey.
  • After he was arrested and accused of treason Burr fled to Europe and eventually returned to America to live out the rest of his days peacefully.
  • I think Burr did the wrong because he over reacted to what Hamilton was saying to him. I don't think it is wrong for them to duel but for a reason like theirs I think it was wrong.
