- A 13th year old 8th grader was strip searched by a school official on basis that the girl had ibuprofen. Ms.Reddings alleged her 4th amendment right was violated. The district granted the defendants judgment and dismissed the case but, the U.S court said that Ms.Reddings 4th amendment right was violated. It reasoned that the strip search was not justified and reasonable related to the circumstances.
