- THE AUGGIE IN ME!
- WHEN I WAS BORN!
- WHAT HAPPEND AT SCHOOL!
- we may be born differently and look differently but some people souch as Auggie and of course me have a few things in common. "It doesn't matter how a person looks on the outside, but what matters is who they truly are on the inside."
- WHEN AUGGIE WAS BORN!
- i was born in sanantonio Texas. I surprised my parents with a condition i had known as Albinism which caused me to be legally blind and have no pigment in my skin or hair or eyes.
- WHAT HAPPEND AT SCHOOL!
- as i got older and enterd j.r High. i was often made fun of and bullied because of my unusually pail skin. because of my low vision and Photo phobia, people took advantage of it and would call me names, throw things and run away so i couldn't tell who it was. the school i went to was known as J.r high Flores middle school of Uvalde.
- WHY WE ARE MORE ALIKE THAN USUAL!
- August or more known as Auggie was born with a condition known as Trencher Collins syndrome witch caused problems to his facial appearance, breathing, form of some bones and possibly vision to his eyes.
- he first started school in 5th grade. Auggie would also get made fun of by some kids and possibly some adults. he would often get stared at like me and it was said he'd got into a little sort of fight with some 7th graders while on a field trip for some schools along with his Breecher prep J.r high.
- though me, auggie and my friends might be from different schools and were born differently, that doesn't mean we aren't as connected as we seem. some of my friends souch as Nathaniel have autism, auggie has Treecher Collins and i have Albenism.
