- The grasshopper tried to influence one to join him to stop working and join him.
- You shouldn't soil your Sunday pants, unlike those other foolish ants, come on let's play and sing and dance.
- No thanks. We must work and store food for the winter.
- Over the last weeks of summer the grasshopper played while the ants worked harder than ever.
- When summer ended all the ants took the last of their gatherings and brought them inside their tree.
