  • Wheres Andromache gone? To my sisters' house? To my brothers' wives with their long flowing robes?

  • "Reckless one, my hector --your own fiery courage will destroy you!Have you no pity for him, our helpless son." etc.
  • Scaean Gates
  • Andromache is crying that Hector is leaving, and Hector is trying to look for her.
  • And mother rules under the timberline of woody Placos once--he no sooner haled her here with his plunder than took a priceless ransom, set her free and at home she went to her father's royal hall where Artemis, showering arrows, shot her down
  • Hector fled out of his house until he reached to scaean gates. His wife met up with him.
  • " But i would die of shame to face the men of Troy and Trojan woman trailing their long robes if i would shrink from battle now, a coward."
  • Andromache is telling Hector of how he will die out there to go to Troy. She has a feeling that Hector might die over there.
  • Even so, it is less the pain of the Trojans still to come that weighs me down, not even of Hecuba herself or King Priam, or the thought that my own brothers in all their numbers, all their gallant courage_
  • While talking to Hector still, Andromache explains that Artemis, daughter of Zeus and Leto, was basically kidnapped and once se was let go, she got shot by "showering arrows."
  • Hector is saying of how he is dying in glory not as a coward.
  • Hector wouldn't mind of who's over at Troy rather if it's the King or emperor, he does not mind at all. He wants to see how people would react when Hector comes to Troy.
