  • William Harvey discovered that blood travels in a circle, from the heart, through the arteries , into the veins, and then back into the heart. Harvey showed the people in Europe that the heart pumps the blood and not the liver, which helped people understand there body better. The reason we need to know how our works is because we need know how to prevent getting seriously ingured

  • How do the planets revolve around the sun?
  • Isaac Newton was an amazing scientist who made the discovery of the theory of gravity.Due to Newton forming the theory of gravity people in Europe and all over the world started to understand why things do not float in the air. By Newton discovering gravity he started the learning of physic. The reason why we need to know about gravity is because a person needs to know if they jump they are going to get pulled to the ground, they wont float.

  • Hey! I was one of the first inventors of the telescope. I confirmed the Heliocentric Theory of the solar system.
  • Francis Bacon developed a new reasoning called inductive reasoning. He outlined this reasoning in his Novum Organum, meaning New Method, in 1652. By Bacon developing this new reasoning it gave people a new way to find a reasonable conclusion.

  • Johannes Kepler was the person who discovered how the planets revolve around the Sun. Kepler's discovery helped not only people in Europe it also help people today understand how our universe works. The reason we need to know how our universe works is because we need to be of aware of what is surrounding our planet.
  • Galileo advanced the field of astronomy through his observations of the stars. He was able to chart the solar system, and inspired other scientific thinkers during his time to challenge the beliefs about nature through use of the Scientific Method.
  • Antiones Van Leeuwenhoek was the person who invented the first microscope. He was also the first person to see bacteria. By Leeuwenhoek inventing the microscope it allowed people in Europe and people today to see things people cant see with their naked eye. The reason it is important to have a microscope is because it allows people to learn about the little things on the earth.
