  • George was a part of the 3rd Marine Expeditionary Unit during the gulf war where he went on routine patrols through desert roads and towns.
  • Climax
  • 
  • On a routine patrol the unit was ambushed and suffered heavy losses. George survived with minor wounds. He was administratively discharged for symptoms of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
  • Falling Action
  • He remains stressed out through his daily life, avoiding firearms and loud noises. Today he is at his Granddaughters birthday.
  • Resolution
  • Suddenly a balloon pops and he is struck with fear. His body seizes up, he gets chest pains, and a sharp feeling in his abdomen. 
  • He has suffered from a minor heart attack due to his condition of PTSD. Although he is shook, he is okay and his condition is stable.
  • Although George was okay he continues to suffer from his condition. He will receive therapy and treatment for the rest of his life.
