Storyboard Text

  • EXPOSITION
  • CONFLICT
  • I love paragliding but... I'm too scared I'll get hurt again. Also, there are such high expectations put upon me. What if I have lost all my skills and I embarass myself?
  • RISING ACTION
  • You have potential. I'll be your mentor.
  • You're Noah Thompson! I'm an aspiring paraglider and I would love to be your apprentice. Can I?
  • Noah Thompson, ex-champion paraglider wakes up from his sleep after a nightmare involving his fatal accident which caused him to stop paragliding.
  • CLIMAX
  • Although fully recovered from his physical injuries, he experiences a mental block and cannot paraglide anymore. He misses it a lot but he is afraid he will hurt himself again.
  • FALLING ACTION
  • Thank you so much!
  • He goes to a paragliding training ground where he meets Jonathan, a teenager who aspires to be a paraglider. Jonathan asks if he can be his apprentice. Noah, knowing he has potential, agrees.
  • RESOLUTION
  • Sure....
  • During one of their training sessions, Jonathan asks Noah to paraglide. He declines in an upset manner and leaves. The next day, Jonathan visits Noah and they talk about Noah's fear. After the conversation, Noah is convinced to try again.
  • They go back to the training ground and Noah tries to paraglide again. He succeeds and is extremely happy. When he lands, he hugs Jonathan and says thank you.
  • Next month, Jonathan joins a paragliding competition. He wins and both him and Noah go to celebrate. They joke about Noah and Jonathan competing in the next one, saying it will be Mentor VS Apprentice.
  • Maybe the apprentice will beat the mentor *winks*
