- The Lin's just moved from China to America, and they where envinted to the Gleeson's house for dinner.
- The Lin's see all these vegetables they have never tried so they taste the celery and enjoy it! So for a while the Lin's were peeling their celery which was not something Americans do.
- Wow Meg eats a lot
- The Lin's sit down at the table to eat because that's how they normally ate. Mrs. Gleeson came over and whispered to the Lin's that they are eating buffet style.
- A few days later the Lin's invite the Gleeson's over for a Chinese dinner party.
- At the meal their was a lot of Chinese foods but the Gleeson's enjoyed. But the Gleeson's ate a lot and mixed all there food the Lin's were disturbed because that's not how the Lin's eat.
- Since the Lin's are Chinese they don't eat desert but Meg a member of the Gleeson's family was still hungry after all that!!!!!!!!!! The Lin's realized that they eat very differently than the Gleeson's.
