- Okay. Does she have school attendance for signed and sealed by her principal?
- I finally found the time to go to the MVA and get my permit
- We got there just before closing
- Little did I know, her second question would ruin my day
- Can you sign this for me to get my permit?
- Yes I can!
- As soon as she said this, I got the biggest lump in my throat because I had made my dad come all this way just to be turned around
- Trying as hard as possible, I held back my tears as I dragged my feet through the parking lot with the yet to be signed attendance form.
- The next day at school I made sure that I got the note signed
