  • To begin with nothing is working in Maple Street, but Les' cars starts on it's own. They try to get to the bottom of this and blame him.
  • He's the monster!!!
  • I didn't turn it on!
  • Next, Steve's wife talked about him working on a radio-set and talking to people. Now they think he talks to monsters and he can be one, too.
  • Monsters?!
  • Yeah, I talk to monsters... Sure I do!
  • Now everyone blames Charlie, because everyone's lights were off but his. Charlie then says he isn't the monster, Tommy is.
  • Uh no, um it's. It's. Tommy
  • Since the roar in the sky and the power goes off, these people try to figure out what was going on. Then, Les' car starts the engine and turns on by it's self. They get suspicious, but Les knew it wasn't him but the blame was on him.
  • The Monsters are Due on Maple Street: Theme: Blaming others and trying to find a scapegoat can lead to violence.
  • The blame goes to Steve because he owns a radio-set used for talking to people. The radio-set can be used to talking to monsters and having plans with them about Maple Street. So, they think he can the monster but he finds out a way to get the blame to somebody else, Charlie.
  • The blame goes to Charlie because everyone in Maple St. lights go off and there is no power, but only Charlie's house has lights on. Charlie claimed he wasn't the monster, but Tommy was because he knew what was going to happen next.
