- A near miss occurs whilst crossing a narrow bridge.
- That was close. Its only a matter of time before someone is seriously hurt or worse.
- We should raise this issue at the next community meeting.
- Road and pedestrian safety is a community concern. What as a community can we do about it?
- At the next town meeting.
- ACTION NOW
- Then its settled the council will engage a contractor to design and construct a new pedestrian bridge.
- We want a new bridge. Think of the children!
- After a competitive tender process RAGS construction obtains the contract.
- Contract .....................
- Congratulations. Sign your life away!
- RAGS Construction. Do not enter. Authorised personnel only.
- Construction of the new pedestrian bridge commences.
- And if it saves one life it was worth it.
- Four months later.
- This is much safer. A positive result for the community was achieved.
