During Slavery The Blacks Where Forced To Sleep In Places Like This. This Is What The Slaves Called Home. They Didn't Have Real Beds They Had To Sleep On Concrete.
Every Morning The Slaves Had To Get Up At The Crack Of Dawn And Pick Cotton And If They Don't Pick At Least 500 Pounds Of Cotton Then They Will Get 39 Or More Lashes
During The Day The House Slaves Had To Take Care Of Their Masters Child/Children. They Also Had To Cook Clean And Take Care Of Everyone In The House. Only The Lighter Colored Slaves Worked In The House.
Many Slaves Attempted To Go On The Run And Only Some Made It To Freedom. The Ones That Got Caught Punishment Was Very Severe.
Lot Of Slaves Suffered From Dysentery, Dropsy, Fevers, And Digestive And Nervous Diseases And later After They May Die Because Slaves Didn't Have Good Doctors Like The White And Back Then They Didn't Have A Cure For Some OF These Diseases
The Blacks And Whites Weren't Able To Be In The Same School They Couldn't Even Drink Out Of The Same Water Fountain. The Blacks Didn't Even Get To Learn As Much As The Whites. They Had To Use The Whites Used Torn Up Books.
