What Waits in the Waves
A group of friends went to the beach!
Did you know water waves are surface waves, a combination of transverse and longitudinal waves!
Just like the name states it is a straight line!
What is a transverse or a longitudinal wave?
In a longitudinal wave particles move back and forth in the same direction that the wave travels
So it moves up and down
So the wave crests and troughs like an ocean wave! I get it!
In transverse particles move perpendicularly to the direction the wave travels.
