  • Hey Mr. Walsh. Would you like to chaperone our cool dance this weekend?
  • They understand how I'm trying to use humor to emphasize this point. After all, I'm a funny dude.
  • ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! I hate dances almost as much as I hate shaving! I paid my dues and did dances for 10 years. It's someone else's turn!
  • I assess and judge my perception of their actions and responses to me
  • Come on! Our dance is important!
  • Sociology
  • But this one is different. We are raising money to support endangered turtles in southwest Billerica. We need help!
  • I can tell that they 'get" me and like my humor. I should kick this up a notch because they love me!
  • Seriously, no way! I'd rather see all turtles die than to see one more twerking teenager!
  • I take action & develop a sense of self based on my interpretations
  • Sociology
  • These kids love me and I am a legend. I wonder if there is a "most loved" award for teachers? I must continue with my brash way of communicating with these kids because that is how I best connect with these little buggers.
  • What a tool! Don't you hate him? Let's go ask Flan, she would jump in front of traffic to save a wayward freshman!
