  • we need to figure out how the body responds once it encounters the microbe.
  • a virus is a microbe that attaches to host cells to reproduce .when a virus finds a host it enters through nose or throat . the body then recognizes the virus is their so then the immune system is alarmed to do its function so the battle between the pathogenic microbe and our immune systems cells causes symptoms like coughing and sneezing .
