  • Hamartia: The flaw that causes the downfall
  • Tim is obsessed by the way he looks that is all he worrys about because he really don't like it.
  • __Tim Macbeth____as a Tragic Hero Using Aristotle's 6 Principles
  • Hubris: Extreme Pride
  • The fate that cannot be reversed is when vanessa falls off of the sled and gets hurt, and tim goes blind.
  • he is so concerned with how he looks he wont wear the glasses, even though the doctor told him so.
  • Peripeteia: Reversal of fortune
  • The reversal of fortune is when they are at the airport, and they are sepperated.
  • The catharsis is when tim thinks that it is done for him because he goes blind, and tells duncan to go forth and spread beauty and light .
  • Tim makes his discovery when he is sledding down the hill and he wants to tell her how he feels, but goes blind before he can.
  • Anagnorisis: When the hero makes a critical discovery
  • Nemesis: Fate that cannot be reversed
  • Catharsis: Tone (Pity or Fear) the audience is left with after the hero's fall
