It began killing many people and no one knew what was causing it.
There was no cure for it at the time so people kept dying.
Since it killed many peasants not many people could work in the fields for a whole town.
There were so many deaths that sped up Europe´s social and economical structure.
They kept demanding rights or they would threaten to leave and they were crucial so they could supply the city so they kept giving them more rights.
