- Wide Angle of Ship reaching the land of present day Panama. Tired passengers unloading from the ship.
- While Vasco de Balboa(Liam Neeson) is creating the first colony he realizes how promising the land was.
- Wide angle shot of the men traveling through the Andes Mountains to get to native civilization.
- The villian(Jason Statham playing Francisco Pizarro) soon emerges in the movie after learning the wealth of the land and becomes violent in an effort to establish control. Anxiety and hatred are present in this shot.
- ...but at this point in the movie enough people have learned about the gold and come to the area to search for themselves
- The movie ends with the hunt for gold lead by triumphant feeling Liam Neeson playing (Vasco de Balboa) with many new comers to the area following his lead
