  • Every day we are assaulted by terrible advertisements, ads use many distinctive techniques to persuade you to purchase their own product. Today, we will learn some of them.
  • Emotional Language
  • One most common used technique is "Promotion" which is a technique that is used to encourage customers with something extra if they buy their product.
  • Hey! Do you want to pass by Starbucks.
  • Yeah! I love Starbucks!
  • Another technique is called " Celebrity Endorsement" it is a technique that acquires celebrities to advertise the ad's product.
  • How Media Influences Our Choices
  • A most often used one is "Emotional Language". Ads use emotive language to play on people's feelings and persuade them to agree.
  • Last but not least "Transfer" this technique is when a symbol carries respect, authority to make the product look more acceptable.
  • Come on! You have to admit that you have been fooled by this terrible ads, and if you haven't, then hey you learned some new techniques. So careful next time, cause this ads are sneaky.
