Storyboard Text
- Meri wakes up in the morning, gets herself dressed, helps her kids get dressed, they eat breakfast and she takes them to school. Her husband, Marc, is on a later schedule, so they miss seeing each other in the morning. Meri wishes she had gotten the chance to see and speak to Marc before he leaves for work.
- During the day Meri is busy at her work-from-home marketing job, running errands, and scheduling plans. She remembers when her and Marc were dating they used to check in and send each other funny or loving instant messages but they don't do that anymore.
- After work, Meri picks up the kids from school, takes them to activities, and then home for dinner. Meri remembers when her and Marc used to meet for drinks and dinner after work and talk about there day.
- Marc is busy running a tech company and works from 9am to 7pm with few breaks. He also remembers when him and Meri used to spend some time during the day connecting through text or phone calls, but that only occurs now mostly when they have schedule changes.
- ,At the end of the day Meri is busy doing the evening routine with the kids. Marc gets home and usually eats leftovers from their dinner or orders takeout with Meri. After finally getting the kids to bed, they have little energy left and it is usually spent on their phones or watching tv.
- Before drifting to sleep both Meri and Marc think, I barely spoke or saw my spouse today, but there wasn't much time. I wish I had made more effort talking to and expressing my affection more for my spouse.
