One day, Saturn was very mad at the gods. He was angry because they demoted him from a god to a regular mortal. Saturn decided to plot against the gods, and destroy Rome.
This is where the gods live.
When Saturn arrived, the gods were having a meeting. Saturn secretly came into the meeting and ate all the gods. Except one. The god of war. Mars.
When Mars heard Saturn's plan, he went to a magical garden (in secret) and trained an army of ordinary Roman citizens. Mars worked hard to train the men. When he trained the ordinary citizens into warriors, it was time to go back.
When they got back to the outskirts Rome, Mars led the soldiers into a secret passage which is under the city of Rome. There, the army could make a plan of attack. The army did not no what Saturn had done to the city, but they hoped it wasn't bad
They looked up from a secret hole, and saw Saturn setting the village on fire, and making innocent people his slaves.
