This is the house of reps. This is where the bill begins as an idea. The bill is placed is a thing called a hopper. Only the representatives can introduce bills.
This is a thing called a committee. The committee is a group of people who help add and take away form bills. The house of reps sends a bill to the committee. If the committee approves the bill it's sent to the houses floor, only if its not sent back.
This s the houses floor. When the bill comes back to the houses floor. Everyone discusses why they agree or disagree. The bill is now voted upon. They vote by voice saying "yeah or "nah". If it passes then it goes to the senate.
This is the Senate. The same steps are repeated in the Senate.
The bill now goes to the President. The President can pass it, and it will become a law. Yet if he does not pass it, he can veto. If he votes it, it will go back to the houses and be passed with a 2/3 vote.
Now the bill has be become a law!
