Presidential elections are held every four years. As citizens of the United States, students will have the privilege of voting for a president. It is important for students to learn about the election process of the president in the government of the United States of America.

This Storyboard depicts a story about a girl who wants to be President. She ponders all of the things she need to think about and do to achieve her goal. This Storyboard will help students think about organizing their thoughts and ideas before they start their narrative about wanting to be President.

- Even though I can't run for president until I am 35, I can be a good citizen and start helping the country now.
- Where Can I Help my Country?
- Where can I help? There are many issues I need to think about, such as climate change, unemployment, healthcare, education, racism, and poverty. I can learn about and help in any of these areas.
- What Do I Need to Do?
- I need to study hard and learn about the government and politics.
- Maybe I will run for a public office when I am 18 to get experience.
- I need to know what I want to fight for. What are my thoughts and views on things that effect our country?
