  • Colonists have arrived!
  • We have arrived!
  • Taken to prison
  • oh no!
  • Let's hurt more colonists!
  • More have arrived!
  • Yeah! More have arrived.
  • In 1607 the colonist have arrived at Jamestown on a spot on the James River which is 60 miles from the mouth of the Chesapeake Bay.
  • The Starving Time
  • I'm starving I need food!
  • Later, in 1607 the American Indians surprised John Smith by a hunting party. Some people were killed, and Smith was taken prisoner.
  • It's time to return
  • bye bye Jamestown
  • After a while in 1608 more colonists have arrived, then in September John Smith was elected president of Jamestown. Later in 1609 Smith was injured and was forced to return to England.
  • Tobacco
  • During 1609 and 1610 at winter it was known as a starving time. By the end of winter only 60 were left out of 214.
  • At 1610 the people that remained decided to go back to England. Then later, the Colonists were at war with to Powhatans. In 1613 there was more than 700 that were in Virginia.
  • hello Jamestown
  • In 1613 John Rolfe sent his first batch of tobacco to England. Then in 1616 the colonists have shipped 2,500 pounds to England, then in 1618 the colonists had shipped 20,000 pounds of tobacco. Later in 1619 chief Powhatan died.
