Storyboard Text

  • So Sam Westing was never dead in the first place
  • "I, Samuel W. Westing, hereby swear that I did not die from natural causes. My life was taken from me- by one of you!"
  • Main Conflict
  • The First bombing is an event that is important to the story. This bombing occurred in the Hoo's restaurant. This bombing shows how serious the game actually is. The multiple bomb occurrences are important because they cause a chain of events such as turtle confessing to being the bomber even though it was angela, and without the bombings this never would have happened.
  • The Reading Of The Will
  • The reading of the Westing will is another main event in the novel. This event occurred shortly after the characters found Sam Westing dead. This event is important because, without it the conflict would have never happened, and in a nut shell no conflict no book.
  • The First Bombing(Conflict)
  • The most important or main conflict only appears later on in the book. In the sunset towers there are 3 significant people name Julian Eastman, Barney Northrup, ans lastly Sandy Mcsouthers. When you read these 3 names you suspect nothing but look closely and add westing to that you get all 4 cardinal directions. A character named Turtle Wexler kicks Barney Northrup in the shin giving him a bruise, She then sees Sandy the next day and he also has a bruise. Later in the novel you find out that Sam Westing never was murdered and was alive at the reading of the will. Then in the novel people think Crow another character but poison in Sandy's drink but Sandy died from natural causes. Therefore, Sam Westing died along with him.
