Percy was a polar bear who lived in the North Pole. He spent his days hanging out with the other polar bears.
In order to interact and hang out with the other polar bears, Percy’s heart must be able to pump blood throughout his entire body. The heart is responsible for pumping blood throughout the body.
Percy became very hungry from hanging out with the other polar bears. He wanted his favorite snack, ringed seals. The seals are high in fat, making Percy able to break down molecules through catabolism.
To be able to find these seals, Percy had to use his high sense of smell. Polar bears have a greater olfactory epithelial surface than other animals. The greater the olfactory epithelial surface the stronger the sense of smell.
Thankfully Percy is able to catch a ringed seal. After his snack, Percy begins walking back towards his den. While walking home he meets Rachel. Percy fell in love with Rachel upon looking at her for the first time.
Percy and Rachel decided they were going to mate. However, it was hard for them. Rachel had high levels of progesterone hindering her ability to reproduce.
