Storyboard Text

  • Blaise Pascal was born on June 19, 1623 as the third child out of 4. He was born in Clermont-Ferrand, France and lived there for about 8 years.
  • Blaise's mother passed away just as a toddler. He was close to his two sisters and moved to Paris, France in 1631. His father, Etienne was a talented Mathematician like his son in the future.
  • When Blaise was young, he was trained and educated by his own father. Bliase learned by his father because his father so he could design an unorthodox curriculum and make sure Blaise was able to express his own innate curiosity. Some also think he was educated home on his health.
  • Blaise pascal was lonely while he didn't have kids and he did not have a wife. Blaise Pascal was too busy in his career and didn't have time for relationships.
  • Blaise Pascal is known for his mathematics and physics. He is known for contributing the pascal's triangle. He also invented the early digital calculator and a roulette machine.
  • Today, we use the calculator as a electronic machine. Bliase's calculator was different but for math like ours. His pascal's triangle is what we use today and now for math and most likely to use it for our timetables. This is how we use Blaise's inventions.
