- The past five days have been the worst days of my life.Dally told us to come to the church,when we got here all we had to eat was bolognie sandwiches.I had to cut my hair and dye it blonde and Johnny had to also cut his.We both looked at the sunrise in the morning.Johnny said that it was pretty cause of the gold and he wished it could stay.I said"Natures fist green is gold,Her hardest hue to hold,Her early leaf's a flower,But only so an hour. Then leaf subsides to leaf,So Eden sank to grief,So dawn goes down to day.Nothing gold is here to stay".
- When we got back to the church with Dally,we saw the church on fire.Me and Johnny went in to rescue the children that were stuck in there and Dally came to help.Dally saved me from getting burned but Johnny got stuck and Dally tried to save Johnny.We all went to the hospital ,Johnny was badly burned and Dally got his arm only burned.Me,Sodapop and Darry all waited to be able to see them.Th reporters came and asked us questions,till we got tired of waiting and wanted to go home.
- When it was time for the rumble everyone went outside and started doing acrobatics because they were exited,on the way there they kept talking about how they were going to beat the socs. When we got there we were all ready,waiting for someone to start.Dally poped out of nowhere and one of the socs took a punch and then it started.Everyone was beating eachother up badly till the socs started running and that ment we won .Dally tuged me and said we were going to the hospital to see Johnny one last time.
