The Rock Cycle

- Hi I am a rock. I have had a long life. Throughout it i have been through what is known as the rock cycle. Let me tell you all about it.
- I began as magma inside of a volcano. I was a firecracker back then.
- I got heated up one day and BAM! i reached the surface becoming lava.
- We begin to introduce the rock cycle and how it has changed the form of this rock.
- i eventually cooled down becoming metamorphic rock.
- First the rock began as boiling hot MAGMA in the volcano.
- then out of no where one day the wind blew me all over the place starting WEATHERING and EROSION.i became SEDIMENTARTY ROCK but got worn away even more and turned into a pile of sediments.
- Time passed and the magma got hotter. Because of the HEAT added it became LAVA as it reached the surface.
- Later on i changed again. due to movement i became compacted and cemneted turning into soil.
- Due to the magma COOLING the rock became METAMORPHIC ROCK.
- The rock was WEATHERED and ERODED so it became SEDIMENTARY ROCK until it was eroded more becoming a pile of sediments.
- The rock has changed due to COMPACTION, CEMENTATION, and MOVEMENT.
