- Gorge Washington's army would run away in the woods during the Valley Forge battle and later on they won the battle.
- We would run away and the British wouldn't chase us they would let us go
- Women would clean make food for the army while they were gone
- During the Declaration of Independence American Colonists formed an alliance with France
- The Battle of Lexington and Concord led to the declaration of independence
- Native Americans would help battle in the wars and African Americans lost a lot of their land during the wars.
- We lost all of our land and had nothing to do to get it back
- Patriots battled on their home soil during the battle of Lexington and Concord.
- The battle of Saratoga occurred in October 1777 and the battle of Yorktown occurred during September 1781- October 1781
