- "The sky, give it to me."
- "You did well... for a man."
- Curse you!
- I held my breath to steady myself, knowing what I had to do. I could never beat Atlas, but Artemis could. The words echoed in my head, "The Titan's curse one must withstand."
- "Stars, I can see the stars again my lady."
- I held the weight of the actual sky, my muscles straining in agony. I could feel how my consciousness held from the thinnest string.
- "Let the world honor you, my huntress. Live forever in the stars."
- My muscled ached, finally relaxing after being freed of the burden. Artemis looked at me, a reluctant expression somewhere in between a frown and a smile.
- We looked over at Zoe, a silence hanging in the air. Her frail body lying limply on the ground. Artemis rushed over kneeling by her side.
- After Artemis whispered a blessing into her hands, a new constellation streaked across the night sky. There in the sky, we saw a huntress, bow strung ready to battle for eternity.
- Blackjack and his friends returned, one for Thalia, Annabeth, and me. We flew into the night sky, relief and grief both swirling within us. It had been a night of grief and triumph.
