Usually the protagonist is an altruistic or idealistic individual who sees injustice and wants to correct it for his or her world.

  • CHARACTER vs. SOCIETY A Character vs. Society conflict occurs when a character goes against the laws of their society, a tyrannical government, or an unfair community mindset. Usually the protagonist is an altruistic or idealistic individual who sees injustice and wants to correct it for his or her world.
  • Emily's rag-tag band of misfit soldiers stood around her, waiting for orders. She looked at them, and then up at the castle. It was going to take a lot of covert skill to get to the throne room, but the king had to be stopped. Their world was destroyed, their families shattered. The tyrant had to be overthrown.
  • This ends today. Our world depends on it!
