- If you need help in class because of struggles with your mental health, don't be afraid to speak up!
- I am such a failure. Why can't my brain work correctly. I cannot even do my work. I guess I am just not smart. I should just go to bed and stay there. There's no point.
- Here at Zeppelin High we value the importance of Mental Health. Students, it is essential that you talk to your teachers or councilors about any struggles you have. They will be glad to help you in any way they can.
- Excuse me, Ms. Press? Can I have extra time on the assignment. I am struggling with depression and my brain is not functioning well enough to do the assignment today.
- You have no excuse for your work to be incomplete and late. Deal with your personal issues on your own time.
- What do I do? I can't do this assignment but I do not want to get a bad grade. If I get a bad grade I will be scrutinized and I will be more stressed than ever.
- I can't do this. I can't even think properly. I have been staring at this screen for hours and still nothing. I do not know what to do. I hope my teacher will understand.
- This is unacceptable. You will be receiving a zero and a call home. Mental health is not an acceptable excuse. I have experience with it and know your work can be finished
